
Lemon Pepper Broiled Oysters

Imagine everything you love about a classic broiled oyster, only delivered with the ease of a tin of pre-shucked oysters. Simply crack open a couple tins of our lemon pepper oysters, and top them with this lemon-garlic-parmesan laden butter. A couple minutes under the broiler yield the most decadent result!
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 cloves garlic, microplaned
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
- Zest of one lemon
- A few grinds fresh black pepper
- 2 tins Ekone Lemon Pepper Oysters
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- Crusty bread and a couple lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic, parmesan lemon zest and black pepper. Mix well until all of the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Open two tins of our lemon pepper oysters, and transfer them to a broiler-proof bowl. Dollop the seasoned butter on top of the oysters, then scatter over the breadcrumbs.
- Preheat your broiler. Place the bowl on a small sheet tray and transfer the tray to the oven. Broil for 2-4 minutes, until the butter is bubbling irresistibly and the breadcrumbs are a deep, golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and serve with lemon wedges and crusty bread.
